| This week is Thanksgiving, a time of year to reflect on all of our blessings and everything we are most thankful for. In that respect, I want to dedicate this comment to my mom.
It's 4:22am and everyone is sound alseep. Today, for the first time I made a roast with carrots, potatoes, corn and my favorite garlic bread for those who are very less fortunate than me. =) It was amazing if I do say so myself! I used my own recipe too.My feet are really starting to sink into my new school here in Tallahassee.
My mom is the best at everything but she isnt a Stepford wife at all. She has her own way of doing things. Living in a big town can make it so eas to just follow the mold and go along with how everyone else does things. But my mom managed to set her own course and not get corrupted into doing things like all the other women.
My mom was and still is a Supermom. She is just so much fun and I think the reason why I relate to to her so well is because she's a young mom. I've been going everywhere since I was 16, have traveled around the world & back and even showed Kyle and Kainon how its really done! ;) LOL! The only thing I havent done is get a college degree...I can't wait! I love working ao much! Spending time at FAMU and away from home for the past few mopnths, I have felt richer than I ever did being in CALI. My soul feels rich and that doesn't have anything to do with money or material things. To feel content, I just need a roof over my head and to be surrounded by the people I love. Thats why I'm dedicating this letter to my mom and all the mom's out there. What would the world do without you?
Mom, thanks for being the best role model!~ you rock!

| WOW, well i'm well into my 1st semester in college at FAMU, actually, I came to FAMU for all the wrong reasons and when it didn't appear to be what I wanted, I wanted to quit, but I said no and am going through it. When it ended up being hard, I said no and am still going. See, i don't want an easy ride, I want a hard one, I think if anybody runs into the perfect school they need to stop and run in the opposite direction cuz nothing is perfect and if it is, there's somethin fishy with that "T" I need a challenge and I am getting it. Well until next time...peace and love and remember to reinvent yourself!

| hey peeps, well this is byron coming out of famu! I havent updated in awhile so here it goes...
Ever since I've gotten to FAMU, I auditioned for everything I love to do and didn't make none of them but one and that is the homecoming talent show! I'm so amped about that! I can't wait to perform in front of 3500 people. It going to be hot...r u ready? I don't think you are, I don't think ya'll will be able 2 handle my truth...we'll see. | | |
